Mary was born and raised in San Francisco and has lived in the Tenderloin, Fillmore, Lakeview and Mission Districts. As a representative of the American Indian Community, she has been involved with many organizations over the years and currently serves as the Advisory Board President for the American Indian Cultural District. She also is a member of the Racial Equity Council for the San Francisco Planning Department, Indian Education and more.
