Mario has lived in San Francisco since 1981 and he has a deep connection to the community in the Tenderloin. He has worked in the non-profit sector for the past 10+ years and he is currently employed at GLIDE Foundation. In addition, he has served on the board of Southern Exposure and has volunteered his time with numerous non-profits, including Frameline and the San Francisco Arts Commission.
