COVID-19 RESOURCES

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Office of Racial Equity (ORE) shifted focus to push for equity in the City’s disaster response and recovery. 

ORE Director Shakirah Simley deployed as an essential worker to the City’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to lead the EOC’s inaugural Equity Team. Senior Advisor Sami Iwata is staffing the City’s Economic Recovery Task Force, co-chairing its Community Engagement and Listening Team.
